The Marathon Recreation Complex is the focal point of the community. Located in the heart of Marathon it is home to the majority of the recreation events. The complex includes an arena and movie theatre.
We offer families an abundance of recreational facilities and organized activities that promote health, fitness, learning, fun and well-being for all ages.
As is typical of northern communities, the local arena is the hub of activity. Figure skating, minor hockey, men's, women's, mixed and drop-in hockey as well as regular public skating round out a very busy ice schedule.
The Town of Marathon Respect and Safe Access Guideline can be viewed here and will be enforced.
