The Town of Marathon is proud to offer several fitness programs to suit the needs and likes of everyone in the community. From high intensity cardio, low impact strengthening and youth fitness, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

All of our classes are led by our certified fitness Instructor and enthusiast, Tasha Kelly!

Stretch and Strengthening Class:
Stretch and Strengthening Class:

Learn to strengthening your body using various equipment like bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, dumbbells, wall exercises and chairs. The stretch segment will focus on full body stretching, this class will help increase your mobility, core strength, reduce stress, improve posture and flexibility. Most exercises included in this class can be modified to sitting. 

This class is Monday and Wednesday 11:00am-12:00pm at the Lakeview Community Hall Gym. 

The fee is $8.00 per class, or you can purchase a 10-class punch card for $72.00. Passes can be purchased at the Town Hall Office during regular business hours.


Gentle Fit Class:

A gentle exercise class that incorporates both standing balance movements and chair exercises that may require resistance bands and small hand weights. Appropriate for those with chronic conditions and or limited mobility.  

This class is held on Fridays 11:00am-12:00pm at the Lakeview Community Hall Gym.

The fee is $8.00 per class, or you can purchase a 10-class punch card for $72.00. Passes can be purchased at the Town Hall Office during regular business hours.

Youth Drop-In

Youth Drop-In is your child’s introduction to Group Fitness Classes facilitated by an instructor.  Classes focus on building gross motor skills, total body conditioning, safety, teamwork and spatial awareness through a series of fun physical activities such as obstacle courses, light weight-bearing, and partner work.

Ages 6-13: Tuesday and Wednesday 5:00-6:00pm at the Lakeview Community Hall Gym.

The fee is $4.00 per class, or you can purchase a 10-class punch card for $36.00. Passes can be purchased at the Town Hall Office during regular business hours.

Sweat with Tasha:

Something new every week! This class offers a blend of high and low impact aerobics, strength training, interval training, cardio and Yoga. Sweat with Tasha can offer some modified exercises for those who wish to work at a lower (or higher) intensity. 

This class is held Monday and Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm at the Lakeview Community Hall Gym.

The fee is $8.00 per class, or you can purchase a 10-class punch card for $72.00. Passes can be purchased at the Town Hall Office during regular business hours.
